The Marshlanders
Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK. 20 July 2026
Debut Album "Dirt and Graves" available now in all formats!
The Marshlanders were formed in 2024, by two musicians and former rugby teammates from Jarrow-on-Tyne, UK who had, after a protracted nomadic existence, perchance marshlanded in close proximity to North Shields (no, they do not know Sam Fender, as they are largely invisible, except when seen against the shimmering lights of the aurora borealis, which occasionally materialises when looking to the north from Long Sands).
Notwithstanding the challenges presented both by their spectral nature and certain prevailing atmospheric phenomena, they did manage to produce four demo tracks, recorded in 2024 and released on digital platforms as the Fit for Crows EP on 17 May 2025.
With a sound that shifts between Southern Gothic tapestries and grunge urgency, all underpinned by a metallic blues bite; the result is immediately recognizable yet alarmingly new. Music unafraid to descend into the darkness and find its truth.
The Marshlanders debut Album, Dirt and Graves, includes re-recordings of the four EP tracks, together with 6 additional tracks, recorded and mixed between May 2025 and May 2026, and mastered specifically for vinyl in June 2026.
The Marshlanders are: Max Legion, bass/keyboards and Sick Silhouette, guitar/vocals.
